While we are on the topic of breakfast, here is another quick, cheap, and healthy meal:
Berry and Spinach Smoothie (keep reading....it's good, I promise!)
1 cup greek or european yogurt
(I choose this type because it usually has around 15 grams of protein per serving. Regular yogurt can't touch that!)
1 cup frozen berries
(Trader Joes and Costco both have a bag of frozen berries pretty cheap)
1 hand full of fresh spinach
1 tsp Agave nectar (optional)
Blend and serve. I personally do not taste spinach at all. Calories end up totaling 240 and the cost is less than $2. I usually add a palm full of almonds to the meal. Then a cup of coffee.
I love coffee!
